Maria Chrzanowska Polish School is serving the Polish community in Edmonton. We strive to teach Polish children their native language as well as Poland's history, geography, and traditions. In so doing, we hope to open their minds and enrich their personal knowledge of the world. Read More...
We are, along with a school in Siedlce, Poland, in the midst of a school project with the aid of "Stowarzyszenie Wspólnota Polska", funded by the Polish Ministry of Education and Learning. We have already had two meetings with students in Siedlce, where students got to know each other and present their cities. Additionally, we had guest athletes from both towns - Alexas Kubicki from Edmonton and Josef Burta from Siedlce.
As part of the project, we have also been working on an art project - building the Edmonton Town Hall, supported by a trip to city center where we learned about the town hall and nearby government buildings' functions and history.
